The Board may, upon application, register as an architect any person who furnishes it with satisfactory proof—
(a) that he or she is registered as an architect in a country other than a member state of the Community whose requirements for registration are, in the opinion of the Board, equivalent to those required for registration in Saint Lucia; (Substitited by Act 1 of 2014)
(b) that reciprocal arrangements exist between the Architects Registration Board and that other country;
(c) that the applicant has sufficient practical knowledge of the local conditions peculiar to the practice of architecture in Saint Lucia; and
(d) that the applicant has obtained the necessary work permit to enable him or her to practice in Saint Lucia.
