(1) The master of a vessel arriving from any place outside Saint Lucia or departing from Saint Lucia shall —
(a) answer truthfully to the best of his or her ability all proper questions put to him or her by the immigration officer relating to the passengers, in so far as is necessary for the purposes of this Act; and
(b) if required so to do, furnish the immigration officer with a list in duplicate, in the form prescribed by the Chief Immigration Officer, containing the names of the passengers arriving or departing, and such other information as may be prescribed.
(2) Every such passenger shall supply the information necessary for the preparation of the list under subsection (1)(b).
