24. Prohibition of sale or export of rejected goods
Where a standard is compulsory and goods tested or examined under section 23 fail to conform to the standard, the goods shall not be exported or released for home use, unless the goods are clearly stamped or marked with the words “rejects” or “seconds” or “imperfect” or other similar words as may be prescribed.
However, where the compulsory standard is declared to protect the consumer or user against danger to health or safety, the goods may neither be exported nor released for home use, but shall be disposed of as the Bureau thinks fit.
