Service personnel acting in the course of their duties—
(a) may, after consultation with the competent authorities of Saint Lucia, and if authorised to do so by orders of the RSS, possess and carry explosives, ammunition and firearms; and
(b) where paragraph (a) is satisfied, shall not be subject to any law of Saint Lucia relating to unlawful drilling or the making or possessing of explosives.
