9. Power to arrest
Without prejudice to any other provision of law authorising arrest without warrant, a police officer may arrest without warrant any person operating, or within, a power-craft whom he or she has reason to suspect of having committed an offence against section 4 or who has failed to give his name and address or the number of the licence of a power-craft in accordance with, and in the circumstances mentioned in section 5(1).
