(1) Where a power-craft is involved in an accident or collision the person having the care, charge or control of it shall give, on demand, his or her name and address and the number of the licence of the power-craft to any person injured or to the owner of any property damaged or to a police officer or to the port manager; and where as a result of any such accident or collision any other person is injured or appears to required assistance he or she shall offer assistance to that person.
(2) Any accident involving a power-craft shall be reported by the person operating the same at the time of the accident to a police officer or to the port manager within 12 hours thereof.
