(1) For the purposes of this Act there is hereby established a Board to be called the Livestock and Meat Marketing Development Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”) which shall be a body corporate under that name with perpetual succession a common seal which shall be officially and judicially noticed. The seal shall be authenticated by the signature of the chairperson and the secretary of the Board. The Board may sue and be sued in its corporate name and may for all purposes be described by that name.
(2) Until a seal is provided in accordance with the provisions of this section, a stamp bearing the words “The Livestock and Meat Marketing Development Board” and authenticated by the signatures of the chairperson and the secretary may be used instead of such a seal.
