It is the duty of the Board—
(a) to buy livestock for slaughtering and conversion into meat and meat products;
(b) to sell meat and meat products;
(c) to operate the feed mill and corn storage facility constructed to process corn and other livestock feed, established under the Agreement;
(d) to improve, by such means as it may determine, the processing and marketing of meat and meat products;
(e) upon being required to do so by the Governor General, to make recommendations on any matter directly or indirectly relating to or affecting the processing and marketing of meat and meat products.
