18.   Regulations

  1.  

    (1)   Without prejudice to the generality of any other power to make regulations, the Commission with the consent of the Minister may make regulations necessary or desirable to give effect to the provisions of this Act and without limiting the general power it is hereby declared that regulations may be made for all or any of the following purposes—

    1.  

      (a)     the organisation of the work of the Commission;

    1.  

      (b)     relating to the machinery of recruitment, appointment and transfer of staff of assisted schools and other teaching institutions;

    1.  

      (c)     the conduct of interviews of staff of assisted schools and other teaching institutions or candidates for the teaching service of the Commission;

    1.  

      (d)     the forms in connection with applications to the Commission, reports and communications from the Commission;

    1.  

      (e)     the conduct and discipline of the Teaching Service.

    (2)   Any amendment to the regulations made under this section shall be approved by resolution of the House of Assembly.
