10.   Manner of complaining

  1.  

    (1)   A person may complain to the Commission in person or in writing.

    (2)   A person who complains to the Commission must give his or her name to the Commission and such other information relating to the person's identity as the Commission may require.

    (3)   If the Commission receives a complaint in person the Commission shall require the person who made it to confirm it in writing signified by the mark of that person unless the person satisfies the Commission that there is good reason why the complaint should not or cannot be confirmed in writing.

    (4)   The Commission may ask a person who complains to the Commission to give more information about the complaint within a time fixed by the Commission.

    (5)   A person required to appear before, or to produce documents to the Commission during the investigation of a complaint may be represented by another person.
