6.   Objections to proposed order

  1.  

    (1)   Before making any order under section 5 the Governor General shall—

    1.  

      (a)     cause a notice to be published in at least 2 issues of a newspaper circulating in the island at intervals of not less than 2 weeks between each such issue, and in 2 separate issues of the Gazette, setting out the order which the Governor General is about to be asked to make and inviting any person who objects to the making of such order to give notice in writing of his or her objections and of the ground on which he or she relies in support thereof to the Minister on or before such day as may be specified in such notice; and

      (b)     consider any objections which may have been received under such notice.

    (2)   The cost of advertisement in a newspaper and in the Gazette as aforesaid shall be pre-paid into the Treasury by the Company applying for a development order.
