6. Power for Port Officer to seize and detain
The port officer or any person acting under authority given by him or her may with such assistance and force as may reasonably be considered necessary, seize any yacht to be found anywhere in Saint Lucia including its territorial waters, if he or she has reasonable suspicion that any licence fee is payable under this Act and remains unpaid in respect of such yacht, and he or she may detain such yacht until he or she is satisfied either that no licence fee is payable or that any licence fee payable has been paid.
