5. Liability for payment of fee on demand
Any owner, charterer, hirer, or the master or other person in command or control, of a yacht in respect of which licence fee is not paid, who fails to pay the same on demand either orally or in writing by the port officer or by any other person duly authorised in writing by the port officer commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500 and to be ordered to pay the licence fee.
