(1) The Board shall meet at least once in each month and at such times as may be necessary for the official performance of its functions.
(2) The chairperson may at any time call a special meeting of the Board and shall call such a meeting within 7 days of the receipt by him of a request in writing addressed to him by any 3 members of the Board.
(3) The chairperson or in his or her absence the deputy chairperson shall preside at all meetings of the Board.
(4) The quorum of the Board shall consist of the chairperson or in his or her absence the deputy chairperson and 4 other members.
(5) Decisions of the Board shall be adopted by a majority of the votes and in any case in which the voting is equal, the chairperson or deputy chairperson presiding at the meeting shall in addition to an original vote have a casting vote.
(6) Subject to the provisions of this section the Board may by standing orders regulate its own proceedings.
(7) The minutes of every meeting shall be transmitted by the Secretary to the Minister within 14 days after the holding of such meeting.
