(1) The Chief Medical Officer shall be responsible for the medical administration of hospitals and he or she shall perform such duties in respect thereof as shall be prescribed in regulations under this Act.
(2) Despite subsection (1) the Chief Medical Officer shall not have the responsibility for the Medical administration of Victoria Hospital.
