(1) Notwithstanding anything enacted in the Customs Act 1967, any item mentioned in the Schedule hereinafter referred to as a “Scheduled item” sold to any person shall be wholly exempted from the payment of Customs duty.
(2) For the purposes of this Act “duty” carries the same meaning as in section 2 of the Customs Act, 1967.
