(1) The Chief Agricultural Officer shall not later than the 15th day of March and the 15th day of September in every year furnish to the Minister for the information of the Cabinet, accounts audited by the Director of Audit, of all payments made under section 3. Such accounts shall relate respectively to the half years ending on the 30th day of June and the 31st of December.
Provided that the first account to be rendered under this section shall relate to the period ending on the 30th day of June, 1973.
(2) All accounts furnished under subsection (1) of this section shall be submitted to the Director of Audit to audit at least 28 days before the date on which they are required to be furnished to the Minister.
(3) The Minister shall table the accounts as furnished under subsection (1) of this section in the House of Assembly as soon as possible after receipt thereof.
