7.   Book to be kept by keeper of Magazine

  1.  

    (1)   The Keeper of the store or magazine shall keep a book wherein he or she shall carefully enter, in the presence, if possible, of the several importers or such other persons as aforesaid, the particulars of all the gunpowder brought to and placed in the store or magazine, stating the date of each entry, the name of the importer or owner, and the description, weight, mark, and number of each keg or other package or parcel; and he or she shall, in like manner, enter in such book the particulars of all the gunpowder delivered out by him or her, taking, at the foot of each such entry, the receipt or acknowledgement and signature of the person taking out such powder.

    (2)   For each of the last-mentioned entries, the Keeper of the store or magazine shall be entitled to and receive $0.04 for each keg, over and above the sum or sums due and to be paid for storage.
