(1) Subject to subsection (2) and without prejudice to the requirements of any other law which may be applicable to the owner of an existing waste management facility, such owner shall be deemed at the date of the commencement of this Act to hold a Waste Management Licence as if issued under this Act.
(2) A licence referred to in subsection (1) shall expire one year after the commencement of this Act.
