Every person who—
(a) does or omits to do anything which is by this Act, or by any regulation hereunder forbidden or required to be done; or
(b) assaults, resists, hinders, obstructs or threatens any person acting under the authority of this Act or of any regulation under it,
commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction before the First District Court to a penalty not exceeding $96.
