12.   Interventions

The Crown may obtain relief by way of intervention proceedings, and may be made a party to such proceedings, in the same manner in which a subject may obtain relief by way of such proceedings or be made a party thereto, and may be made a party to such proceedings despite the fact that the application for relief is made by a bailiff or other like officer; and the Code of Civil Procedure and the district court rules relating to intervention proceedings shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, have effect accordingly.
