9.   Breach of other conditions, and punishment

If any licence-holder—

  1.  

    (a)     fails to produce his or her licence when required so to do by any judge or magistrate before whom he or she is brought charged with any offence, or by any police or other constable in whose custody he or she is, and also fails to make any reasonable excuse for not producing the same; or

  1.  

    (b)     breaks any of the other conditions of his or her licence by an act that is not of itself punishable either on indictment or on summary conviction,

  1.  

    he or she commits an offence, and on conviction, is liable to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for any term not exceeding 3 months.
