11. Restrictions to resolve difficulties or hardships arising from exercise of rights
Subject to article 47 of the CARICOM Treaty set out in Schedule 3, where Cabinet is satisfied that the exercise of rights conferred on a national of a member State under this Act creates serious difficulties in any sector of the economy of Saint Lucia or results in economic hardships or any part of Saint Lucia, Cabinet may, by order published in the Gazette, apply such restrictions on the exercise of rights as Cabinet considers it appropriate to resolve the difficulties or alleviate the hardships.
