(1) After the publication of a scheme under this Act, no person shall mark or cause to be marked any bananas with an identification mark unless he or she is authorised to do so by the Association.
(2) Any person who acts in contravention of this section commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $120 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
