2. Interpretation
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—
“Association” means the Saint Lucia Banana Growers Association Limited;
“bananas” means bananas of the varieties known as “Puerto Rique” “Gros Michel”, “Lacatan” and “Poyo” – or any other variety of bananas declared by the Governor General;
“identification mark” means an identification mark approved as part of a scheme under the Act;
“Minister” means the Minister for trade and production;
“registered grower” means a person registered as a banana grower under the Articles of the Association.
