(1) The Association may, by resolution of its Board of Directors, and with the approval of the Minister, prepare a scheme for the allocation to registered growers of such marks (in this Act referred to as “identification marks”) as it may consider appropriate for the identification of bunches of bananas.
(2) When the Minister has approved a Scheme under this section, the Association shall cause particulars of the scheme and a notification of its approval to be published in the Gazette and at least one newspaper circulating in Saint Lucia.
