3. Appointment and tenure of office of Chief Engineer

Her Majesty, or the Governor General on Her Majesty's behalf, may appoint an officer, to be called the Chief Engineer, who shall be charged with the duties and obligations by this Act imposed on him or her, and who shall hold office during Her Majesty's pleasure.
