14. Authority may regulate rivers
The Authority may alter or regulate the course of any river, stream or watercourse in such manner as the Authority may deem necessary for the preservation and maintenance of any road; and any claim for compensation in consequence of any such alteration or regulation shall be rendered to and may be fixed by agreement with the Authority, or may be assessed in like manner as any compensation with reference to any widened or altered road as hereinbefore directed.
