  Editor's note: This Schedule 6 of the Quarantine Act, 1905. That Act was repealed by the Quarantine Act, but this Schedule was saved by section 11.

      (1)     There shall be paid to the Harbour Master by the master, owner or agent of any ship or vessel taking a Bill of Health the sum of $1.44 for every such Bill of Health. However, no such payment is required in the case of British or Foreign Ships of War, Troopships or Transports.

      (2)     The Harbour Master may, on any Bill of Health issued by him or her, state the name of the ship or vessel to which he or she issues such Bill.

Night Signals on Ships

    2.   The master of every ship not admitted to free pratique shall exhibit on board his or her ship at the peak or other conspicuous place where it can be best seen, and at a height of not less than 20 feet above the hull of the ship, during the whole of the time between sunset and sunrise a night signal, consisting of 3 lights, which shall be arranged, at a distance of not less than 6 feet apart, in the form of an equilateral triangle, and of which the light at the apex of the triangle shall be white, and the other lights at the ends of the base of the triangle shall be red in colour.
