(1) A person shall not —
(a) by any false, misleading or deceptive statement, representation or promise; or
(b) by any willful concealment of a material fact,
induce or attempt to induce any person to enter into an agreement or contract in connection with the carrying on of any private security business.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and on summary conviction is liable to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
