(1) Subject to the remaining provisions of this section and to section 40, where the copy of an application is submitted to the Authority pursuant to section 35(2), the Board shall make a recommendation to the Minister for the grant or refusal of a licence to that applicant and shall give reasons for a recommendation or refusal.
(2) The Authority may, within 14 days of the receipt of an application, request additional information from the applicant for the purpose of considering an application by the Board.
(3) Where the Authority makes a request for information pursuant to subsection (2), the applicant shall submit that information within 14 days of the request or within a further period of time granted and specified in writing by the Authority.
(4) The Authority shall not unreasonably refuse to give a further time period pursuant to subsection (3).
(5) The Board shall submit a recommendation pursuant to subsection (1) to the Minister, within 28 days of the application being made or information requested pursuant to subsection (3) being submitted as the case may be.
