(1) Subject to the approval of the Minister, the Director shall make Correctional Facility Standing Orders, not inconsistent with this Act and with the correctional facility regulations, for the efficient functioning of the Correctional Services and the discipline and control of all inmates detained therein.
(2) The Standing Orders shall be published in the Gazette and shall come into operation on the date of publication or on such other date as may be stated therein.
(3) The Standing Orders shall be binding on all correctional officers, staff and inmates.
