2. Establishment of Central Library of Saint Lucia
The Governor General, after consulting the Board established under this Act, may establish and maintain, out of such funds as may be available to him or her for that purpose, such library facilities to be called “The Central Library of Saint Lucia” as in his or her opinion are desirable in order to further the provision of an efficient public library service throughout Saint Lucia and may enter into mutual arrangements with other official and unofficial libraries within Saint Lucia.
