5. Receipt for notice
A police officer who receives any such notice shall give a receipt for the same, in Form B of the Schedule, to the person giving such notice and shall at once forward such notice to the Commissioner of Police, who shall cause a Register of Brands and Marks for cattle to be kept for the whole State. Such Register shall be termed the Register of Brands and shall be in Form C of the Schedule.
