14.   Register of cattle slaughtered

  1.  

    (1)   A licensed butcher shall provide and keep a register of all cattle slaughtered by him or her in the course of his or her business, and shall enter or cause to be entered therein the particulars set out in Form G of the Schedule.

    (2)   Such register shall at all reasonable times be open to inspection by any police officer, any officer of the Agricultural Department or the Labour Commissioner, who may take a copy of any entry therein.

    (3)   A holder of a butcher's licence shall produce his or her register to the police officer in charge of the police station in the district wherein such licence holder is resident, not later than 15 January in each year and such police officer shall take a copy of such entries therein made during the previous year as he or she considers desirable.
