8.   Authority to Corporation to make by-laws

It is lawful for the Corporation to make by-laws—

  1.  

    (a)     for the inclusive use and custody of the Cemetery;

  1.  

    (b)     for the keeping of registers, the interment of bodies; and for the government generally of the Cemetery; and

  1.  

    (c)     for regulating the fees payable on interments within the cemetery and on the erection of monuments and enclosures thereof provided that as regards the interment of paupers the fees payable by Saint Lucia shall be such sum as the Corporation and the Governor General agree to be the sum payable for the interment of paupers.Editor's note: By Gazette notice 267/1989 burial fees increased with effect from 15 January1988.
