(1) It shall be the duty of every officer of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force and of every rural constable to assist the Authority and its agents in the enforcement of the provisions of this Act.
(2) Any person who obstructs, hinders, molests or assaults any duly identified police officer, rural constable or agent of the Authority engaged in the performance of any duty or in the exercise of any power imposed or conferred on him or her by or under any provision of this Act commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for one month or to both such fine and imprisonment.
