9A. Unauthorised access and inspection of information

(1) Where the Minister obtains any records, article, document or information in accordance with an Agreement, a person shall not wilfully access, attempt to access or inspect any records, article, document or information without prior written instructions from the Minister.

(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.

(3) The Minister shall keep and maintain records received in accordance with an Agreement for a period of 6 years.
