Where the Court directs a sale or division of proceeds under section 45(b)(i), it may appoint a person to sell the property and divide or apply the proceeds accordingly, and the execution of any instrument by the person so appointed shall have the same force and validity as if it had been executed by the person in whom the property is vested.
