FEES – ADVICE AND LITIGATION UNIT – THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CHAMBERS

Fees: Marriage Licence (Civil Code (Marriage Licence Fees (No. 2) Order, Statutory Instrument Number 36 of 2009)

• For a licence lodged more than one working day before it is required: $335.00
   
• For a licence lodged one working day or less before it is required: $540.00
   

Fees: Apostille (Apostille (Hague Convention) Act, Schedule 2, Statutory Instrument Number 84 of 2010)

• An Apostille will be issued in two working days and will cost $50.00 for each certificate.

Fees: Adoption Application (Tutor Ad Hoc costs, charges and expenses) (Rule 6(1) of the Adoption of Children (High Court) Rules, Statutory Instrument Number 17 and 22 of 1954)

• The Tutor Ad Hoc fees: $800.00 per Infant (child).

PLEASE NOTE: THESE FEES ARE TO BE PAID AT THE MARRIAGE LICENCE COUNTER SITUATE AT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CHAMBERS AND MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A MARRIAGE LICENCE, AN APOSTILLE AND IN THE CASE OF AN ADOPTION APPLICATION, BEFORE THE ATTONEY GENERAL FILES A REPORT OF TUTOR AD HOC.
