(1) Subject to the provisions of subsection (2) every person employed in the execution of any duty under this Act shall before entering on his or her duties take an oath or make an affirmation in the form in Schedule 2 and such oath or affirmation shall be administered by the Statistician.
(2) The Statistician shall before entering on his or her functions or duties under this Act take an oath or make an affirmation in the form in Schedule 2 and such oath or affirmation shall be administered by a justice of the peace.
