STATISTICS (LAND AND AGRICULTURAL UNDERTAKINGS) REGULATIONS – SECTION 13

Commencement [6 November 1943]

1.   Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Statistics (Land and Agricultural Undertakings) Regulations.

2.   Interpretation

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires “Act” means the Statistics Act.

3.   Application

These Regulations apply to all the matters specified in section 3(1) of the Act.

4.   Required information

The particulars and information to be furnished and the manner and form in which they are to be taken are generally shown in the Schedule hereto.

5.   Date of collection of statistics

The particulars and information specified in the Schedule shall be collected once in every 3 years from 1 August 1943.

6.   Times and places

The particulars and information required shall be furnished within 30 days of demand to the officer or officers designated under section 3(2) of the Act at such times and places, and by such persons, as such officer or officers may specify by notice in the Gazette.

7.   Offence

A person who without reasonable cause defaults in complying with the provisions of these Regulations commits an offence and is liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding $96, or, in the case of a continuing default, to a fine not exceeding $7.20 for every day during which the default continues, or in default of payment to imprisonment with or without hard labour for a term not exceeding 6 months.
