42.   Penalties for certain offences

A person who commits an offence under this Act for which no other penalty is provided is liable on summary conviction thereof to—

  1.  

    (a)     a fine not exceeding $100 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or both in the case of an offence under sections 13, 21(b), 26(2) and 27;

  1.  

    (b)     a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both in the case of an offence under sections 6(2) and 6(3), 7(a), 12(2) and 12(3), 20(2) and 20(3), 24(2), 29(1), 34(1) and 34(3), or 35; or

  1.  

    (c)     a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or both such fine and imprisonment in the case of an offence under sections 7(b), 14, 21(a), 21(c), 21(d) and 40(4).
