(1) The Chief Engineer shall in the month of December in each year, and more often when required by the Governor General, submit to the Governor General, a report on the condition of the jetties accompanied by an estimate of the cost of such repairs as may be necessary to insure their preservation and stability.
(2) Such report and estimate shall be submitted to the House of Assembly.
