(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Commissioner may delegate to a police officer, not below the rank of Superintendent, the right to exercise any of the Commissioner's functions under this Act, and such functions shall be specified in the instrument of delegation.
(2) The Commissioner may not delegate any of his or her powers under section 27.
