(1) A director, manager, secretary or other officer concerned in the management of a system participant shall take all reasonable steps to secure compliance by the participant with the requirements of this Act.
(2) A director, manager, secretary or other officer concerned in the management of a system participant who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.
