(1) Information stored, disseminated or used by system participants and operators of funds transfer system or settlement system shall not be denied legal effect solely on the ground that—
(a) it is in the form of an electronic record; or
(b) it is not contained in the electronic record purporting to give it legal force and validity, but is referred to in another electronic record.
(2) Information recorded in electronic format may be produced as evidence in accordance with procedures established in the Evidence Act or other applicable law in force in Saint Lucia.
