(1) The functions and powers of the Authority under this Act shall not extend to any building or land which, at the commencement of this Act, is vested in the Saint Lucia National Trust (“the Trust”) or which is under the management or control of the Trust or any other recognised organisation.
(2) For the purpose of this Act a “recognised organisation” is an organisation concerned with the protection and preservation of the natural environment, and recognised as such by the Ministry responsible for the environment.
