9. Claim of person interested to have land acquired or abandoned
If, within 3 months after entry has been made on any land under the provisions of section 4, such land shall not be acquired or abandoned, any person interested in the land or any part thereof may serve a notice on the authorised officer requiring that the acquisition of the land or part thereof be completed or abandoned, and, if within one month thereafter, the acquisition of such land or part thereof be not completed or abandoned in accordance with the provisions of this Act, the acquisition of the land or part thereof is deemed to be abandoned.
