1. Citation

This Order may be cited as the Free Zone (Designation of Free Zone) Order.

2. Designation of free zone

The geographical area described in the Schedule is designated as a free zone.

SCHEDULE

(Section 2)

All that piece or parcel of land comprising and registered as Block 0845B Parcel Number 187 situate at Cul-de-Sac in the Quarter of Castries in the State of Saint Lucia and bounded as follows:

North : by Block 0845B Parcel Number 356

South : by a road

East : by a buffer and a highway

West : by Block 0845B Parcel Number 357.

The whole measuring six point one point three nine hectares (1.39 ha.) or three point four five acres (3.45 acs.) as shown as Lot 1 on the Plan of Survey by Dunstan Joseph, Licensed Land Surveyor, dated 2^nd July, 2003 and lodged at the Survey and Mapping Section on 4^th August, 2003 as Drawing Number C10459R and recorded as Number 378/2003 and as shown on Map Sheet 0845B.

FREE ZONE REGULATIONS – SECTION 36

Commencement [30 September 2019]

1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Free Zone Regulations.

2. Interpretation

In these Regulations, “Act” means the Free Zone Act.

3. Application for free zone business licence

For the purposes of section 10 of the Act —

(a) an application for a licence to operate a free zone business is in the form set out in Schedule 1;

(b) the fee for an application for a licence to operate a free zone business is XCD600.

4. Licence to operate a free zone business

For the purposes of section 10A of the Act —

(a) a licence to operate a free zone business is in the form set out in Schedule 2;

(b) the annual fee for a licence to operate a free zone business is XCD2,500.
